Where would you go tomorrow if you could? Say you've got funds and time for a 2 week adventure. Where are you going? Is it somewhere you've been before or not? And why would you choose this destination(s)?

Bruges. It's a fairytale f***in' town.

This is tough. So tough that I've changed my mind several times.
Landed on Amsterdam. A bit cliche -- although not as cliche as Paris, I suppose. Love the vice (pot, smut), the history (Tulip mania, WWII [Anne Frank], etc.), the architecture (canals on canals on canals), the food (cheese, stroopwafels, gummies, Albert Heijn, FEBO), the beer (Heineken, Amstel), and the culture (bicycles, Van Gogh, liberality). It's also incredibly central for Western Europe (Paris, Brussels, London, Frankfurt all within 2 hours by high speed train).
Runners up: Seoul, Budapest, Kyoto

Have never traveled outside the country before.
But if you gave me 2 weeks, probably a tour of Western Europe.
Would like to get in one Arsenal game, play at Wimbledon's grass courts for a day, travel to Paris, visit the Vatican, Lake Como, visit Madrid, etc.
Would like to go to the Philippines, but it wouldn't be safe even for my family.
Forever Fredi
Since I spent a quarter of my life in Europe, been there and done that. Should have moved to Japan when I had the chance but my then wife did not want to go there.
Well, I always wanted to go to either New Zealand or Australia. I might still go there one day so never say never is my motto.
Leaving for Shanghai in two hours; thought I'd check back in on this thread.
Sad to read I may have missed the best window to visit Anatolia—but it does seem about the ideal juncture to visit Myanmar: a lot less restrictions, but still not a lot of rampant reminders of the Occident.

Myanmar is one of the most welcoming places I've ever visited. Just amazing.
Please don't go and ruin it.

Anywhere in Europe, I'd love to go. So much history there.
Number one place I want to go is Austria. So incredibly beautiful.
I would pick Thailand. So many ladyboys there!
My time in Europe I never made it to Eastern Europe. I went to Czech, but that was as the only eastern block I made it to. Australia would be my choice though.
well, since you asked tomorrow
that changes my answer cause i was going to say Antarctica and this isn't the time to visit
so, I guess my answer would be Spain/Morocco although i'm not sure 2 weeks is enough time but I would go with that i think. Anything in Asia would be too long to get there to stay for that short of a time. same for down under again as well. I haven't been to Spain or Morocco but they have always been on my list.
Cuba would be my other choice as well

I'd fly to London, rent a car and drive north, seeing how much golf, theatre and Scotch Whiskey I could experience for 10 days. Then on to Ireland for golf, fiddle music and Guinness.

While there are so many places in the US I'd love to go and a bunch of places overseas number 1 on my list is backpacking through belgium hitting all the various Breweries that I can.
Stockholm, more densely populated than NYC - sturg

Beer from there is too similar to American beer. Dutch and German beer have something about them to make them foreign tasting, especially when breweries are on the "herbisch", "Doppelbock" or "Hefenweizen" side. I have a feeling you do not care much for those types of beers.
