It seems like and correct me if I am wrong because you never do that. Freddie has had more opportunities to hit with runners on when he's been in the slumps.

Maybe, but he's hitting .301 with RISP. So when they've been on, he's been good.

FYI Yanks have 3 of their top scouts at tonight's game, closely watching Santana.

WFAN 660 has mentioned that Yanks have potential interest in Santana and rumblings that they may be the 3rd team in a potential blockbuster that would send Price to Atlanta, Santana to the Yanks, and a package of young players and prospects from the Braves and Yanks going to the Rays. Also mentioned that Minor would be in deal going to Tampa and Balfour to Atlanta.

Jason's power has been absent all season. It would be great if he were hitting .260 with a .350 OBP and .450 SLG. He's so capable of that. Where's his power gone?

It's been absent since he got hit in the face.

Its painful to look at a lineup where only 2 players have slugging % numbers above .400... especially when power is supposed to be our strength... at least there's one more when Gattis is in there...

Don't know what the hell happened in the third inning, but other than that Ervin has been dealing.

Yeah, even if it came in and out in the past, at least it was there. It's just been gone. I'm sure getting hit in the face has some impact, but I dunno how much obviously.

I think Gerald can be forgiven if he begs off workouts the next few days. That was an intense HBP.

so where'd the offense go? Six hits in two innings then nuthin'. Same pitcher, same hitters, and it just goes away.

Probably shouldn't be complaining since usually we don't hit this guy at all.

Evoldi adjusted his game plan. He's not pumping in 1st pitch fastballs on the 1st pitch anymore. Starting to mix it up a good bit and his curve looks great.
