Padres threatened, but no runs.
Lane is the type of pitcher the Braves struggle with. Their approach doesn't work against a guy who throws like this. You need to be patient and he will give you something to hit. Being ultra aggressive is not the recipe for success.
Braves have hit the ball hard a few times today, but right at em.
Simmons made a spectacular play on a ball with a lot of english on it. Took a bad hop and he had to bare hand it. Kind of like Ozzie Smith's famous play, but without the dive.
