Twas going to post this in the Christmas Music thread,

but will post this here instead. I had a negative review on trip advisor from this lowlife elitist pos lady at a restaurant I work at (not my family but I've known the owner for well over 15 years and my cousin is the manager so I work whenever I want i.e. need some extra cash)

    http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restauran...a.html#REVIEWS

She gave us 1 out of 5 stars.

We highly recommend the food...sushi and pho. It was Veteran's Day and we visited for lunch. The staff was playing Christmas music. I simply asked if they knew chistmas music was on. As a
result the wait staff changed the music to the movie theme song from Halloween. Even the hostess commented on that selection so the wait staff turned to "patriotic" music blasting "Proud to be an American" from the speakers because it was Veterans Day. As we paid the bill and left, the music returned to christmas carols. This is how a business loses regular customers.
So this couple came in, we were PACKED this day. It was Veteran's Day lunch, we have 2 servers running with 18 tables inside and 6 patio tables out. The hostesses have no independent thinking skills and keep going by the book, so for anyone here who's worked in a restaurant, you would know that when the servers get overloaded with tables, it's probably not the best idea to give a server tables farthest away from each other as possible. Restaurant usually runs 4 servers for dinner so you don't get in the weeds, but 2 servers with that many tables + patio + bar is suicide. Anyways back to the couple, they walk in, see we're packed. What do they do? Demand a table. Not only demand a table, but specifically point out a table they want. A table that we don't usually use for lunch because it's just in the way. But the wife said WE MUST HAVE THIS TABLE. Out of 18 tables, 13 of them were occupied. 5 were open or just needed a quick bussing but she chooses to pick THIS table.

So we give it to her, I'm really cordial but relaxed with them as with all my tables. She orders the Pho, husband orders Hibachi. Yes we played Christmas music. My cousin and I enjoy Christmas music, so we played some because it was finally cold weather here, (34 to be exact that afternoon). Now we'd been playing christmas music before halloween, and customers didn't complain some actually said it was nice. Well she asks me "do you guys know you're playing Christmas music?" and I said yeah. So she complains, and I apologize and said a lot of people like it. Her husband loved it, was singing a long with some of the songs. Gave them their food promptly on time drinks never went below the half mark. Never waited for their check. As I'm making my rounds she says "it's Veterans Day, why not play something patriotic?" I said to her you know what that's not a bad idea. So I go into the office, switch it up to some Ray Charles - America the Beautiful, and I come back out and she stars laughing and gives me a thumbs up. Husband is entertained as well. I give them their check back, say thanks and make my way. As their leaving, after a few patriotic songs, spotify reverts back to the Christmas music so I guess she thought we were mocking her.

When I read the review, I could not believe it, nor could my cousin or the owner. Just hilarious all around, cannot believe someone could be such a dick to do that.

Find out where she works and heckle her. I assume she probably just lays in bed like a deadfish for work.

Rosie and Whoopi got into a big fight during the commercial break. I'm worried that set may not be big enough for the both of them.

I wanted to post in this thread last night, but SAV locked it. I didn't want to make another for risk of message board clutter.

Well I'll be. Last night I partook in a wee bit too much holiday booze and sent a bunch of people sappy messages via facebook. Don't remember any of it. Anyway, you know when they say don't drink and drive? Well don't drink and facebook.

Reminds me of that time I tried to rage quit the board via PM to sav.
    thank you weso1!

Got a newborn and exhausted wife trying to sleep and the cunts in my neighborhood think it's July 4th with fireworks. I hope they all come down with the flu.

Those are nice. Like someone's playing "Auld Lang Syne" inside your head, but your occipital nerves are the strings of the piano.
