Maholm hasn't missed a start all year. He's a solid pitcher having a rough stretch. Soft tossers look terrible when they're getting hit and like geniuses when things are going good.
he served his purpose. I kinda wish his value was higher so we could trade him and get something for him though
I think it's pretty obvious he needs to go. He's solid in a few ways but he's looked bad for a while now. I'd rather roll the dice with Beach or Wood.
He's a mid to back end of the rotation pitcher. Not sure why people expected him to be much better than what he's been this season. If we keep him in the rotation he'll get back on track on some point I'm sure. But anyone expecting anything more than a high 3.00 to low 4.00 ERA from Paul was really fooling themselves.
