At least the Braves have solved the future Peraza issue since they don't believe TLS is an everyday player. Guess he'll be good trade bait though. Also means CJ's job is safe for the next couple of years so yay...

Yeah Tonmy has been scorching the ball all month. Like 9 hits and his average has dropped nearly 25 points.

So everyone should be benched when they cool down? Maybe having his playing time cut short doesn't help the case. It's amazing that guys like BJ and CJ are allowed to be god awful for the entire year but the first rough patch TLS(a playyer with a future) gets into he gets replaced(by a player with no future). Great logic.

The Nats have won the division. I know it's too early to quite call that, but they have. This streak they're on is pretty lucky to be honest, but we've had many like it, it happens. They're just playing good ball. Now, we've got to stop screwing around and win. We'd been good the last week but games like last night can't happen. BJ and justin both need to get crap for that from Fredi.

Everyone knows the best way to break a slump is on the bench.

You're assuming anyone respects what Fredi has to say. Hudson made it pretty clear that he has no idea what he's doing.

I for one want to see how many free swinging undisciplined "hitters" we can stick in one lineup. Also I think the top of the order should be BJ, Goose, and CJ. We go ahead and get them out of the way.

Missed third strike call gave Simmons a chance to hit the HR. Atlanta got a break there.

It's very possible (maybe even probable) that Goss is a better option vs lefties than TLS when considering batting, fielding, and base running.

But for some reason people act like TLS is the caliber of player as say Marcus Giles

TLS has as a rookie hit above average for a 2B despite an almost impossibly low 1.6% HR/FB. And a pretty low .308 BABIP considering his LD and GB rates. TLS could be much better for sure. But you've been hating on TLS for a long time.

And even their minor league careers are night and day. One can clearly hit and get on base(which is what this team needs) and the other is kind of lucky to have had a career year in AAA which has overshadowed a very mediocre(putting it kindly) career.

I'll take his opinions on baseball more seriously than his film critique.

lol CJ has been awful all season? I suppose hitting .270 is awful nowadays.

No, but a .298 OBP is. He hasn't hit for enough power to be anything but bad with that OBP.
