I'd be shocked if it actually happened. Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

What possibilities will be available at GM and Manager in 2015? Who would everyone like to see?

I think Wren has done far more good than bad. I wouldn't let him go.
    Fredi, on the other hand...

That McGuirk article leads me to believe it's possible. If this team doesn't make it to the playoffs and actually win a series, it's a disappointing season. I think the brass is tired of the piss poor playoff performance and the terrible contracts that were given to the likes of Lowe, Kawakami, Uggla and BJ.

I prefer to have stability at hte top of the organization. Outside of the awful free agent moves the talent in the organization up and down is solid.

    Freddi needs to go though.

The problem is who are you going to get that's demonstrably better than Wren? Fredi is expendable. Hire TP and be done with it.

You'd better be damn sure the guy you're getting is better than Wren.

I'd lose Fredi and give Wren one more year. I feel like the club has talent but hasn't put it all together. That's on the manager, not the GM. The poor decisions on big free agent deals however are a different story. But he has done well in trades and keeping our young core guys together. That should buy him another year imo.

Fredi signed an extension? I don't know how managers contracts work, but is it guaranteed through the duration like a players?

My main problem with Wren is that he keeps Fredi around. That makes him part of the problem. In fact it makes me worried about what manager he would hire if Fredi is fired.

I think I might buy Wren and Fredi being on the hot seat because of the Ervin Santana signing. They convinced ownership that our time was now to get them to agree to get the money to sign Santana.

Go watch any and every close game the Braves have played and you'll find the answer to that question. The man doesn't know what he's doing. Tim Hudson has even pointed it out. He panics and it shows.
All you need is Hart and Cox.

    Maybe Fredi.

Minus the BJ/Uggla contracts, Frank has been fine.

Our pitching was dog**** at the time so im not blaming Frank for the Lowe/KK deals.

I agree. What is the problem with Wren? Other than the anchors that were/are the Uggla and Upton contracts. Upton could have been forseen, but I can't blame him for Uggla.

Wren put a good enough team together. We should be in the WC spot pretty comfortably. Giants have no business being close to us.

I don't think they can both UNLESS Wren refuses to fire Fredi and the demand he fire Fredi.

The Braves have won most games in the NL since 2011 . FG has been manager - I doubt he gets fired

Wren has put together the team that has won the most NL games since 2011 - I doubt he gets fired

Tim Hudson is Tim Hudson and is having his won problems as we speak
