Phil Niekro's last game summed up the 80's. He really didn't pitch that badly, but then Chuck Tanner brings in Chuck Cary who promptly gives up a grand slam to candy Maldonado. Exit stadium.

Right, but we can still realistically hope that this season is an aberration. Changes need to be made though.
