    On a suicide squeeze or a double-steal?

Seriously, fun series. Two decent ballclubs in what looks like a post-dynasty era. I really like how Sabean has constructed the Giants and Bochy is a good manager. I thought Bochy clutched a bit last night and overreacted early, but he's a solid manager who gets a lot out of his club.

I do have to laugh though. I kind of see this Perez kid as our version of Danny Bautista. Of course, when Bobby Cox puts Bautista in a big game, he loses a routine fly ball in the lights and seals our doom against the Padres way back when. When Bochy puts Perez into a big game, the kid gets a big hit. We're snakebit I tell ya. Absolutely snakebit.

Hate that for Huddy. I want the Royals to win, but I wanted to see Hudson pitch well.

I only saw a few pitches that inning from Huddy go over 84mph. Unless they were change ups there was definitely something wrong.

Yeah, he didn't look right. If the Giants win tonight, I wouldn't be shocked to see him call it a career to be honest.

Also, these teams better hope this one doesn't go 15 innings. Might run out of pitching.

Both these teams do a lot of little things right. Big reason they're here.

Giants needed another run there, KC got a call on the pitch to Crawford.

Perez is a liability right now for the Royals. Need to go to the backup.

So if the Giants win do you put this team in the same lights as the late 90's Yankees? 3 titles in 5 years. Is Posey the new Jeter and face of baseball?

It would be impressive, but it's important to note they didn't even make the playoffs in 2011 and 2013. Whereas the Yankees were in it every year and very nearly won 5 of 6. So for that reason, I still think they'd be a notch below those Yankee teams.

Pretty sure it's Trout. The media will make sure it's Trout.

It will be Jason Heyward once he signs with the Yankees and starts loving baseball.

I agree. Those Yankees teams dominated the regular and post season. Something the Giants haven't done. Still in the end World Titles are what's remembered and I have a feeling 10 years from now this group will be talked about in the same breath as those Yankees teams.

Not if he doesn't win a world series.

Bumgarner is the man. Wonder if they'll bring him out for one more.
