Yeah, I get that. He sure does like to swing. I think he just needs to learn some more pitch recognition because he hasn't seen any kind of curveballs since he didn't have much time in AA. Have faith. The guy is a stud. It really hurt this team when he got injurred.

Simmons seems to really be seeing the ball better.

Did anyoen think he would have 10 homers before the end of July?

I like Gattis. But he seems to struggle with anyone who can spot off speed pitches. He's on a team of free swinging power guys. I'm not sure he's a full time starter....I like him a lot, but I'm not totally sold.

I'd love to keep Mac, Let Gattis catch 2 days a week, PH, and play 1B and LF sometimes vs tough lefties.

I was thinking the same. Sure he could. Hope that doesn't go to his head. He one of the folks that I always worry about when he goes yard

When Gattis hits wall scrapers, it's the wall of the 2nd deck.

I think his effectiveness will increase with more reps. As has been mentioned a million times..he has never gotten a long look at good breaking balls. It looks ugly at times now but he has shown signs taht he is able to hit those pitches.

Wow, another laser from Heyward. I was sure he was going to be a top 5 player after that rookie year. I just don't know what has happened.

He's trapped in Bill Shanks' body.

Won't complain about the inning. We hit a couple of ropes. Give Davis credit for sacrificing his body on the screamer by Heyward.
