    Election Day 2014

Don't forget to get out and vote.

I love Election Days. Wish they were National Holidays.

All eyes will be on the Senate races. Go ahead and make your predictions. Will the Democrats keep control, or will the Republicans take over?

If the republicans don't take over, they have some very serious issues

Republicans have a 3 in 4 chance to take control.

I am voting R for the governor. The D here is probably on Palin level. She has no platform but attack and so many skeletons, Halloween would like to hire her.

    And she is hideous

Senator Ryan is cool though. We talk for awhile. Kleefisch, now she is really pretty on TV, but OMG in person, she is REALLY nice looking. She and a colleague at work had a long talk about schools in Wisconsin. I like her vision. They put a lock on student fees, so it is affordable to go to college here and all schools are tied together and if you need a class to graduate and the school doesn't offer, they will work with the the other schools to get you that class anyway possible.

Another thing I like about her is private schools. They are trying a way to give us parents relief in taxes that send our kids to private schools. It is tricky but doable she said, but the land mines are tough.

Weren't you just saying in another thread that you wanted a third party? And yet here you are, supporting the two-party system

National. I don't vote for either party.

Not state or local. They affect me more than national.

You know like TAXES, JOBS, relief of private school.

And make it easier for people with jobs to vote? Don't be silly.

    This didn't take long.

It's incompetency for a website to be shut down, but in the day of voter registration cards being sent out a month in advance, if you can't figure out where and when you're supposed to vote over the course of a month, you're a moron.

Good sign early for Pubs as they've already called the Kentucky race. Would've been bad had they needed to wait a bit to call it.

No call in Virginia yet. That's pretty shocking. VA was supposed to be about as close as the KY race.

D.C. suburbs might carry Warner in Virginia like they did Obama in 2012.

Democrats should celebrate any victory tonight with a big bucket of fried chicken. They deserve it!

Pryor ousted in Arkansas. He was one of the more moderate dems.

Another quick call for the pubs in a race that should have been called quickly. Still the signs point to the kind of night pubs were expecting with still a slight chance of a huge wave. The Virginia race was predicted to be similar to the Arkansas and Kentucky race. I'm shocked that one hasn't been called yet. If somehow Gillespie pulls it out that one might be the greatest senate upset in modern day history.
    thank you weso1!

Shaheen wins in NH. The first good news of the night for Libs. The first swing state goes to the libs. Not a big surprise but a state the libs had to win to have any chance of winning the senate.

Shaheen wasn't really a swing. NH is a fairly split state, but Shaheen is entrenched, and the Scott Brown ads were the ****ing worst, any moderate would have been scared off by their stupidity. ****er was bringing up border security. No one in NH gives a **** about that.

Been watching fivethirtyeight's twitter tonight and they are reporting a low vote count to this point for the Georgia libertarian candidate. This they figure means a better chance for Perdue to close things out tonight. This combined with the fact that Perdue continues to outpeform Chambliss means the Pubs could gain senate control tonight with wins in Iowa, Colorado and Alaska.
