This board rejoices for the joke opportunities:

The #Braves have signed RHP Chien-Ming Wang to a Minor League contract and given him a ST invite.

Agreed. Feel bad for the guy. He was on his way to becoming a star before he hurt himself running the bases. I haven't seen many sinkers thrown as hard with as much movement as Wang did before he got hurt.

Having the pitcher bat literally cost this guy well over 100 million dollars.

Good pick up on our end. Veteran for organizational depth at AAA who can spot start if needed at the big league level

I'm sure this is an example of another player that you never saw pitch until he got hurt.

This year's Yunesky Maya but not as good. Can never have too much veteran-ness.

Wang, BJ and Wood. This team just got a lot better from a satirical standpoint if anything! That being said, I believe it's a good move for us. He's a pitcher that has a lot of upside and is low-risk for us. Definetly a great start.

Thats absurd if you don't have the least bit sympathy for this guy. Once a players career is over thtas the extent of the massive earnings potential. Wang will probably end up living an everyday life never knowing the luxuries of what he could have had if not for a stupid outdated rule in baseball.
