Is there an echo in here?
"Donald Trump will serve a second term as president of the United States.

    It’s over."

    2 years with a club option for a 3rd?

Wasn't as bad last year as I initially thought. Still 38 years old.

Not surprised we signed Grilli since it was rumored, but 2 years w/ option? He's 38. Serenity now . . . serenity now.

I want to know which prospects we bought with this contract when we trade him in July.

I'll wait until then before I give my opinion on the move.

I like Grilli as a veteran arm for the pen but 2 guaranteed years? Geez Hart. But how many RH arms do we need for the pen? Johnson, Grilli, Carpenter, Simmons, Kohn, Vizcaino, Hale

Sure seems like we're now back in a position where we trade a reliever. All speculation on trading Kimbrel has been squashed pretty quickly by the media w/ sources in our FO. So I guess that leaves us with Carpenter or Russell.

Not a big deal to me since the team is in 'meh' mode for two years. Maybe we can flip him later.

Well yes but for now, until we get a 5th starter, he is slotted in that role. Steamer projects a 2.86 ERA for Grilli next year.
