Hit a home run, lead off the next day. Method meets madness.
But this is a great ordering of the offense.

Fredi on batting Heyward leadoff: “He draws base on balls. He’s dangerous. Looking at the stats last night when I got home, he’s only done it twice. He’s only led off in his career twice. I think he’s a guy to do it. It also splits up the left-handers, and going into the game today I knew I maybe wanted to hit Justin Upton in the 2-hole. And there were a couple of different options there; you could put (Upton) in the 2-hole or the 7-hole, but maybe let Chris hit in the 7-hole and drive in some runs in that spot, and get Justin going a little bit in the 2-hole.”
In light of recent events, I sure hope Teheran does not go deep today.
It's been 18 days since we've won two in a row. That's gotta end some time doesn't it?
and of course!
Holliday is activated today by the Cards!
Can't they wait 2 more days?

Of course finally Fredi gets it right and I pay 11 million dollars for the MLB package to not have the game on because of FOX. Guess I'm drinking and streaking instead of watching

"Do you see where the shadow rules the land?"
"Yes, Father. Is that the postseason?"
"It is the leadoff spot. You must never go there, my son. It is a dark and dangerous place, haunted by popups and strikeouts and double-plays."
