Wound up being one of the biggest Braves prospect busts in recent memory. Him or Cody Johnson.

To be fair, did anyone think Cody would ever be good? I mean, other than the idiots that drafted him.

Shhhhh we have those idiots back.

Cody Johnson was a classic waste of a pick on power hoping everything else would come along. Only bright spot is pretty much everyone picked after him sucked too

The kid really was George Lombard part deux.

And I think "stocking up on arms" is a grand understatement at this point.

Trepagnier's numbers are not impressive at all, especially for a right-handed minor league reliever.

Salcedo stands as one of the primary reasons the #Braves had to overhaul their international staff.

I guess it depends on who's judging. I'm sure the Johns aren't impressed with the zero.

    http://players.piratesprospects.com/...repagnier.html

That's about as much info as I could find on the first half page of a Google result. Has pretty much only been a reliever. Tall but doesn't throw especially hard. Had a reverse platoon split in 2013, which I don't put much stock in (SSS) except to suggest that he isn't likely situationally effective against either righties or lefties. Pretty bad K/BB last year. B-Ref suggests that he was a year younger than his league at 22 in A+, and while I'm sure it's technically correct, that doesn't seem quite right, or at least not for anyone with any aspirations for the bigs.

No, Salcedo wasn't on the 40-man roster.

Can we blame the Salcedo bust on Wren like we blame every bad thing about the minors?

Got lotsa tats on the arms. Maybe they have some magic quality that protect his arm from falling off.

Not sure how much reshaping it needed if it was the same staff that signed Peraza and albies. But not sure those people are still here.
