I dont see us signing a big-name SP with how many SP's Hart has stockpiled.

I wouldnt mind going after Wieters in FA.

I thought about Wieters, but just don't think it makes much sense to tie up that kind of money in a Catcher at this point. Signing Price (or another SP) would give you the flexibility to make BOTH Folty and Banuelos late-inning guys and also buy time for the next wave to potentially replace Wood/Miller if needed.

I love me some David Price, but he's already logged a TON of innings on his arm.

And as i said, the Braves have alot of young cheap pitchers they can bring up in the coming years.

I'd go for Span and Wieters.

FA market really sucks the next two years outside of Price, Strasburg, Upton, and Heyward. I hope we look to continue trading instead of at the FA market.

Jordan Zimmerman hits FA, but he'll get some insane offers, i'd love to pry him from the Nats, a true ace.

Don't be surprised to see them sign Zimmermann or Price. Get that true ace on the staff to go with Teheran and others..

Then use our very good farm system to trade for hitting.

Braves will be very good again...soon

Price doesn't make a lot of sense given all the starting pitching we just acquired. Then again, he would be a huge name to headline our new stadium with, so who knows....

I hope Minor rebounds very well this year. We could get a very good package for him if he can get back to his low 3.00 ERA form.

I think a trade for big, controllable hitter is coming within the next yr or so. Too bad the Kimbrell trade couldn't have happened earlier in the off-season. Would have been awesome to trade some of this newly acquired talent for Josh Donaldson. He fits perfectly with what we need.

If the Rays suck this year then I wouldn't be surprsed if Longoria's name came up.

I think we will see Rio Ruiz at 3B starting and if he and Peraza live up to potential, our infield will be one of the best in the game. Jace will be super utility.

We will have CB behind the dish, Markakis in Rf and I think we will sign/trade for a LF and CF.

Way too early but my best bet would be something like this...signing Fowler and Jose Bautista

    Fowler
    Peraza
    Freeman
    Bautista
    Markakis
    Simmons
    Ruiz
    Bethancourt

I think in order to acquire a decent bat... one of Simmons or Perazza will have to be used to it.

Fowler is a player I have always wanted us to bring in.

Nah we coudl trade all out shiny new pitching

2016 Braves I'd want to see.

Markakis (know he has no speed, but his ability to take a pitch needs to be put somewhere)
    Peraza
    Heyward
    Freeman
    Ruiz
    Wieters
    Simmons
    Maybin.

Maybe put Peraza in CF and Peterson at 2B if Peterson proves he can be a serviceable major leaguer.

or the cash that we'd appear to have stockpiled and ready.Signing Heyward as a FA next winter would indeed be one of the most satisfying moves a GM could make.

If we signed Heyward, I'll take back every bad word I've said about the front office.

I'll put the odds at 500:1
