I get your point but this tactic and form of governance is particular to one party. To my mind , in this case by lumping the two parties together in a pox on both houses attitude , is sanctioning the actions of (R).
If you think this is wrong there is no choice but to decide which of the two you think is right.

This—in concert with inviting Netanyahu to address congress—is wider-spread and specifically aimed at poisoning the well, so one could certainly argue that it's worse, no? More than anything, though, it's just silly and petty.
