Gilesfan will even defend the Nat's horrific announcers. That's cute.

I honestly didn't know his name; I just knew that I abhorred his announcing. I don't really watch Nationals telecasts enough to have familiarity with their booth, and I didn't care enough to research it.
The name "FP Santangelo" sounds vaguely familiar, but I confess to not remembering an inning he played nor a single thing noteworthy about him as player (such as there is worthy of note). I was, meanwhile, barely a two-year-old when Ray Knight retired.

"For all his tattooings he was on the whole a clean, comely looking cannibal."
FP was the typical scrappy utility guy before those guys became popular. Switch Hitter who married a playboy playmate.
Ray Knight was the third baseman that took over for Pete Rose in the Big Red Machine and then later played for that wacky 1986 Mets team with Doc, Strawberry, Dykstra, etc. Killed it in the playoffs was the world series MVP that year. He managed the Reds (I remember it as badly, but who knows). Divorced from Nancy Lopez (LPGA golfer)
I just realized maybe my sports knowledge is worthless and my brain could have been put to better use.

FP compared Desmond to Simmons on D.
Kyle Kubitza called up by the angels.

Geez, Matt Harvey got blasted tonight. If he isn't going to pitch well this year the Mets are going to be in trouble.

Lulz.
If KJ could still play 2b at an acceptable level he'd still be a starting caliber player. 6700 of those 6800 innings came over and years ago. He was never an elite defensive player to begin. If he was anything better than below average, he'd see more than a handful of games a year.

I would take JUp back, but that deal could be a massive deal down the line.
Fried could be a big-time trade chip if he recovers.
Dustin has hit well in his first year.
Jace has been solid since being the every-day 2B.
And Mallex could be the future leadoff hitter.
Regarding Jason, i dont watch Stl a ton but he hasnt hit well at all. I wouldnt say i want him to fail but i hate the Cards so if he does hit/play horrible, so be it, f them.
