Geez, the Braves rae not messing around.

I guess they think the 75th pick is worth more than Reyes. Not sure how to feel about that but probably both will never make the big leagues.

Lets hope that the scouting powerhouse that was brought back together in the offseason can work their magic. Could be a really long run of contention if the organization makes the right choices this year.

John Hart is stocking up on draft picks like he's Bill Belicheck!

I love that he is loading up on picks for Roy Clark to fill.

I like it. Reyes never would hit enough to be an everyday OF. We at least have a chance to hit on a prospect at 74. Love having 6 picks in the top 100 with the new Roy Clark.

What in the world is Arizona thinking here? Anything can happen and there is a non-zero chance Reyes exceeds expectations, but I wouldn't imagine there are many teams in the league that would give up this pick for him. This is another nice, small move by Hart / Coppy.

Reyes was blocked by all the corner outfield prospects in our system.

Could something be up? We're getting a lot of picks, but we're also increasing the amount we can spend to sign draft picks. Think they go after someone who drops due to signability?

This is a great move. Honestly, I've really enjoyed what all is going on. It sucks seeing all of these guys leaving, but this is a good offseason.

Rotoworld was indicating this was part of our deal with Arz on Cahill, but couldn't be announced til now.

Think DOB is reporting this is just an extension of the Cahil deal.

Makes the Cahill deal look a little better, and makes the DBacks look a little less crazy since today's trade looked really foolish for them on its own.

I think, given this news, the Cahill deal is now one of my favorite moves of the offseason. Aside from the Kimbrel trade, I preferred the more unheralded acquisitions (Winkler selection, Ricardo Sanchez and Manny Banuelos trades).

I really think every move was good (could see an argument that Markakis was worthless). Every move had a purpose and I think the Braves are in a good position long term now.

Why? I'd welcome all pitchers unless that premium bat fell in our laps. Pitching can be traded for hitting

Especially since this organization scouts pitching much better than hitting.

The Stella! trade was awful. Markakis signing was questionable (at best) and likely bad. That's without getting into the Heyward and Justin crap.
