I'm way over the Heyward trade. Worst part of that was including Walden.

    - Gov's Dad, one of the 17 Marlins fans in existence. I'd call him and rag on him, but what's the point? He's got to watch that team every night. And he was telling me Sunday night that they were going to contend....maybe I should get mom to check his meds...
Marlins have a solid ball club. Getting Fernandez back in June will be huge. I am certain they will win more than us this year.

As a team we will not see 100 homers, we would hit the least the most, but I don't think we will be shabby.

They built a team of taking pitches and slap hitters. If I am a pitcher I would hate that. foul off foul off foul off, ball, foul off foul, ball, after 11 pitches you will get a strikeout. That is taxing.

I can grow to like this type of ball.

Get into the soft side of the opposing teams bullpen. I love it.

This is an old argument. I don't blame Wren for Uggla and BJ. Nobody could've seen their historic collapse and back to back all time bad seasons they both produced together. BJ didn't even perform to 1/4th his career numbers. Uggs fell off a cliff.

I give Fredi credit for managing around those injuries in 2013 and 2014 and at least keeping us competitive.
    Forever Fredi

Shame on all of you. We have an awesome game to talk about and we are still debating Jason Heyward and Frank Wren.

Everyones feelings were made quite clear over the whole offseason. If you think that some have to mention it for the community to realiez what you are pissed about then you are mistaken.

I'd argue we won in spite of Wren. It was a poorly constructed roster. Worst part about Wren is how bad our minor league system had gotten.

You're right. Shouldn't engage in these Shenanigans.

I'm loving this team so far. Still will be lucky to even be in the wildcard hunt come September but already more fun to watch than last year.

And we won because he was handed elite level talent at league minimum prices.

I know it is two games, but Seitzer well, he is preaching pretty good.

I would slap doubles for days if we win, so what if the chicks dig the long ball.

Swinging for the fences is a thing of the past. If you run into some homers thats great.
