Per MLBTR, outfielder Zoilo Almonte has elected to become a free agent after being outrighted off the Braves' 40-man roster last week. He signed with Atlanta as a free agent this offseason after spending all nine of his professional seasons in the Yankees system.
With Maybin in the fold and Tosacano possibly on the way, I see that as a logical move.
