Ouch....Gattis back to back 4K games

White bear still in hibernation so far, striking out 4 times each game for the last 2 games and getting booed by Astros fans. So far he is 0-11 for the year, with 8 strikeouts. While it's an extremely small sample size it sure does make a person wonder if there still aren't underlying concerns with his back issue from last year and that we might possible have gotten the best out of him and he is going on a decline.

He's either injured or pressing. He needs to relax and not focus on the left field joke of a porch. He's strong enough to hit it to Corpus Christy with very little effort.

He doesn't seem injured and had a great spring training. Plus he had some great AB's in game one including two blistered line-outs. My guess is the last two games he was pressing a bit trying to impress his new team and fans. So I don't make anything of this small sample.

It would surprise me not at all if his back became an issue this season.

Hope he isn't hurt and that he does well. He's one of the few ex-Braves I like to root for (great story). Plus, he's in the AL so what he hits doesn't really affect the Braves too much.

This is insane. I guess he's the type of guy that does this then goes 6-7 with 4 bombs.

I remember some 0-50 starts by Andruw. Sadly I thought every year he was going to break out big and he always started like dog **** until I benched him on my fantasy teams.

I figure he's guaranteed for one of those three swings/three homer days. I assume this is just pressing/switching leagues. If he's healthy, he's gonna be ok.

And Olney ranked the 'Stros ahead of us? lol.
They are going to K 18 times a game.

I wonder if Gattis is having some difficulty adjusting to the DH role. There's a change of pace (and preparation) because a guy doesn't stay warm/loose by playing in the field. It may take him a while to get acclimated to his new role.

That kind of wind generation will certainly cool the fans during the hot Texas summer.

And they are still 3-4. Makes you think they are going to win some games when those guys get going.

I pegged them in the 75 wins range.

Wow Gattis leaves because he was traded and people begin to hate on him.

He went 1-3 tonight I believe. But keep saying trash about him.
