Nice start for Wisler and nice start for Steve Janas. In the case of Janas, I guess it's good to get the TJS out of the way prior to the kid being drafted. Braves drafted him in the 6th round in 2013 out of Kennesaw State. He had his TJS in 2012.

Some good pitching by Alec Grosser and Carlos Salazar as well for Rome. Interesting to see if Salazar harnesses his potential in the pen, he's off to a good start.

I'd like to see Kurcz replace Jaime asap. I was very impressed with his stuff in ST

I think Kurcz and/or Cornely will see time with the big club this season.

Not a great day for the position players we're all following: 0-fers for Peraza, Davidson and Ruiz, 1-4 from Smith. On the other hand, yay for Albies.

It is nice to FINALLY have position players to follow in the minors. It feels like its been forever since we have had players that deserve legit interest. Simmons, Gattis, Beth, etc notwithstanding.

The kid hits. My wife grew up with his father and aunt. He is a really good kid too, will be easy to root for.

I am all kinds of excited about Wisler. I hope he replaces Stults once the service time cutoff is reached.
