Ullis/Booker were better. Im sure Ullis/Newman will be better.

Anazing? What did he average 10 points a game down the stretch? With minimal rebounds and assists.

Kentucky fans try so hard to defend the twins. There is a reason they may not get drafted despite the high school hype.

10 ppg is a lot on this Kentucky team. And he averaged more than that.

Trust me: Andrew and Aaron were better than Ulis/Booker this season. You can say otherwise all you want, but you're wrong.

You also forget there are two ends of the court. They couldn't even leave Booker in the game against Wisconsin because he was getting abused so badly on defense.

Not disputing that they might not get drafted. They have some deficiencies in their games. But they were great college guards.

You suggesting a professional college basketball coach wasn't playing the best options for the positions? Or he thought they were and is just wrong?

You use the term Great very loosely.

Never said they were bad defenders, they are decent. Neither are very good offensively.

Both have NBA size. How many great college players with NBA size are borderline 2nd round picks?

I'd take Ulis/Newman (if UK gets him) over the Harrisons.

Booker needs another year imo, but his stock wont be higher.

Giles is right here, Harrisons were good but for their size, only being projected as 2nd rounders is questionable.

You guys know the NBA cares more about potential than what you did in college, right? And how many college guards are even in discussion for getting drafted?

Ranking Cal's PGs while at UK:

    1. Wall
    2. Knight
    3. Andrew
    4. Teague
    75. Harrow

3/4 is really a toss-up. I'd take Andrew because of his size and his decision-making, though I suspect Teague may have surpassed him if he'd stayed another year.

    Potential- as in NBA size/speed/skills?

So the Harrison twins played mediocre in college and don't have NBA potential; so what is the appeal with them again? That they were 5 star recruits?

You are going to disagree, but I'll say it anyways. I'm surprised there isn't more PG talent from Cal's stay at Kentucky. I guess I just assumed they had a ton of great point guards. I guess he hasn't been at Kentucky as long as it seems and that is probably why I would assume they have more standouts. You could put Bledsoe in as a PG, which would be the 2nd best PG.

Georgetown reportedly after Anthony Collins and Anton Gill as transfers. I prefer Collins as a true PG; he's just not a good shooter.

    Backcourt of Campbell/Collins/DRS
    Wings of Copeland/Peak/White
    Center- Govan/Hayes/Derrickson/Agua

That might actually be a top 10 roster

He put 4 PGs in the league in 5 years. 3 of them start. What are you talking about? Who else has even come close to that?

You are just revealing your fundamental lack of understanding of the college game by saying things like the Harrisons were "mediocre" and that Bledsoe was better than Knight.

also that Cal wasn't starting the players giles felt was best.

Yeah, Knight probably was a better college player so maybe he's 3rd. Bledsoe was much better defensive player, but offensvily, he probably doesn't catch up.

I mean, you can post numbers all you want. They don't answer every question.

Ulis was great this year. The difference between them wasn't much overall. But Andrew was better.

I guess one way to look at it is how many elite PGs during Cal's tenure didn't go to UK?

Kyrie, Lillard, Tyus Jones (for obvious reasons).. I guess you could throw in Oladipo. Who else?

I don't see how you can call players great when the team was better with them off the court than on the court. And its not like there was ever a situation where either Harrison was playing with a bunch of scrubs beside him.
