JFYI, one of the two errors last night on Peterson was changed to an error on Callaspo for a missed catch.

Glad that happened. Callaspo plays 3rd like he's got a hole in his bucket.

I wouldn't go that far, Callaspo is very good at third compared to Chris Johnson out there. CJ hasn't even played regularly yet he has a -3 DRS at third. Callaspo had an even DRS at third before last night's missed catch, now he's -1. His track record at third is pretty good according to DRS, etc. Now Callaspo at second is another story, I don't like him there at all.

That said, I think KJ might be the best at third defensively on the team. He's also been good in LF so far too. I know he hasn't played third much for us but I liked him there in a small sample over last few seasons. So if he keeps hitting and gets on one of his crazy hot streaks. Then I'd start him at third some games to keep him in the line-up.

who would KJ replace if you played him at 3b vs RHP? Callapso or the peoples choice, Peterson? And doesn't it make more sense to just play him in left instead of EY?

I've enjoyed watching KJ play for us both at the plate and in the field this year. The guy still has something in the tank.

I was talking about playing KJ at third some games over Callaspo and CJ vs righties when he's hot. Further, EYJ would be on the bench and mostly used as a pinch runner and late defense if up to me.

    Hilarious!!!

Waters is intersting too. Would prefer a guy that projects to more power though. (2017 Draft Thread)

If they don't make additions they can expect the same 3-5 win improvement they saw last year. That makes the Braves a 75-78 win team. (What's the best we could hope for in 2018?)

As it should've been at the time.

Yea, I was surprised no one in the game thread seemed to catch it given how much Callaspo is disliked here. I am not saying I like Callaspo because his domestic violence history made me view him differently too. I just kind of expect folks to be looking for something with him, that's all.

Man, Markakis looked like he was running in quicksand after that fly ball by Werth. But he got there and caught it at least.

Poor frame job by AJ cost Teheran a strike to Harper. No comment by Simpson about that though. :)

Teheran up to 10 1/3 innings with 10 runs earned since the end of the infamous knee game.
