That kind of explains parts of NJ. But why live in South Jersey, not an easy commute to NY. Or the shore area, or western NJ, or any other number of places people choose to live.

Love you keep harping on NY but know **** about NJ.

Look at Virginia's population heat map

Only you can come up with something as evidence based on 87000 hotel bookings.

Lol off the shore. Speaking of ****holes.

I'm sure there are beautiful parts of Virgina just like there are beautiful parts of every state. I like to hate on Jersey as much as the next guy but lets be serious here. Jersey is a beautiful state.

Honestly the only ****up New Jersey does is not being a historical shill like Mass and Virginia. If they put more effort into historical tourism they'd reap that reward. Many influential revolutionary war battles happened in NJ. When you hear of Valley Forge, Lexington and Concord, BUnker Hill, Yorktown, etc. you know what the deal is. But Trenton and Princeton is one of the biggest players. It was a massive victory for Washington's men and without it the war probably ends. Monmouth was huge. I have driven past Washington's fort in Kingston, there's no major advertisements for it. That's NJ's biggest tourism mistake, making it all about the shore and AC and leaving out the history. But it's still a highly tourist driven area. Maybe they don't want to get greedy and want to leave some stuff for other areas.

Even with our bad apple cities, we're high on the lists in income, education, and top-10 in fewest below poverty level. NJ is simply a much more desirable state than VA.

Your beaches smell so bad. Like old stale crablegs. Please don't tell me you are comparing Virginia Beaches to New Jersey beaches.

I tihnk the only northeastern states I'd rather not live than Virginia are Delaware and Maryland. Even then I always enjoyed Baltimore, just wouldn't live there. Delaware should just be paved over and be massive interstates, corporate tax shelters and Dogfish Head.

Why would i compare them. One set is famous, the other set is the alternative for people who can't get to NJ. It's like New England beaches, they only exist because people can't make it to NJ as easily.

Ok? So because we didn't pave over swamps, and we have industry, we are bad?

New York royally stinks. But it's a sign of life. You know what doesn't stink, Nevada. You know where I'd never live? Nevada.
