BJ shouldn't be in the lineup when he's activated. The Braves haven't been playing this well since April. BJ will come in and screw everything up.

It's a tough call. B.J. did have a pretty decent June and Gattis is actually slumping. B.J. is also a better outfielder. Then you have to remember Schafer. I think B.J. should get a shot, but Freddi doesn't need to be too loyal. If he hits like he did for most of the first half then we have to look at other options.
Playing BJ will improve the defense dramatically. Put Gattis on the bench, where he is a potent weapon. And get Heyward to right field before playing center starts to wear too much on him. It will also increase the chance that signing him will not end up being a huge mistake.
We have options. So tell bj to concentrate on contact and hitting the other way. If he decides to swing for the fences then you have heyward and Schafer as optionns
Gattis needs to be ph guru and catch every 5th day IMO. Maybe steal a start from ff here or there if we keep a big lead.

lol at people wanting to put BJ back in the lineup
Just amazing.
I mean, what are the choices? Have him spend the next four and a half years on the bench? He's going to play. I feel much more confident in an Upton-Upton-Heyward alignment than I do a Gattis-Heyward-Upton grouping, and I assume BJ isn't going to hit like 2002 Neifi Perez forever.
So how long is the rain delay going to be
BJ 2-for-2 with two doubles so far with G-Braves tonight.
