Pretty lucky defense there for TB in the 3rd.

I feel like the team needs to win this one tonight based on the pitching matchup tomorrow.

In the 2 two home/aways last year vs. the Red Sox and Mariners, the Braves ended up 0-8 in those 8 games. This year, it's against TB and Boston.

Nick might save his first homer for when we play in Baltimore. :)

Freeman's got enough bat control that you'd think he could make teams pay for playing a shift but maybe not.

Well, at least the bases weren't loaded when he hit that. :)

That was a situation like I was talking about with Maybin, he reaches but with two outs he can't try to steal since you need to clear the pitcher. This is why it wouldn't be fair to say he should have more stolen bases, he just can't do so much batting 8th.

Maybin has his wRC+ up to 117.

He has to be the most pleasant surprise of the season so far along with Jace and Shelby.

I think that's termed a "Major League Wild Pitch."

Foltynewicz seemingly still has some slippages in his concentration that he needs to address.

He seemed to buy into what Seitzer has been teaching as much as anyone. Plus Maybin has always been talented so I am not surprised. This is why a number of us wanted him starting over EY Jr. straight away or early on anyway.

That said, I hope he keeps it up and turns into a nice trade chip down the road rather than someone we just want to trade to clear his salary.

Folty falling apart with two outs, that ball was almost gone. I didn't think he hit it that good off the bat.

Alright get him out of the fckn game. Lesson #8 in pissing away a lead by leaving balls up and over the plate is done.

I think it's better to let Folty finish this inning. If you think he's a future piece, let him have the experience...

Foltynewicz is a dumb pitcher. Million dollar arm, ten cent head. He's Nuke LaLoosh.

Yea, I am thinking OK Maybin will have a shot at this and that ball went a lot further leaving Maybin no chance.
