They finally moved Maybin up in the order. Good for Fredi.

LOVE seeing that much speed in front of Freddie - I'd personally flip-flop Markakis and Gomes and Simmons and Callaspo, but still more than happy enough to see a good chance to manufacture a run without a hit early.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

How much more rope does Callaspo get? A .211/.300/.263 line coming off a 66 OPS+ season doesn't inspire confidence. Is he gone when C. Johnson gets back?

This is a series we need to win 3 or 4. Upcoming Dogers/Giants series will be tough.

Hopefully the Braves mentally have convinced themselves we're playing the Fish again with Sardinas on the mound.

And the baserunning as well. Looks awesome. Could be the long term CF.

Yeah, at the very least. You could live with him at hte corners as well since he produces at the plate.

We haven't faced many lefty starters so it skews Gomes performance because Fredi has had to throw him in some games against righties. He has an OPS of 1.118 against lefties this year.

I think a KJ/Gomes platoon out there could put up an .850 OPS. Of course KJ is hurt right now.

Teheran's velocity is down again tonight but he's had success with it so far.
