I saw Rush while they were in Atlanta. Sad that this is their last tour . Going to see Flogging Molly in Charlotte on the 15th and The Whigs and The Baseball Project at the end of the month.

Yeah, they were great. The crowd was one of the worst I've ever been in though. Maybe it was the rain.

Saw them 2-3 years ago (dont' really remember) they put on a show. Obviously Geddy's voice isn't what it used to be but he adapts pretty well. Musically though, they were 2000% on point. THe lowlight of the show was when some twatwaffle insisted that my friend and I who hadn't moved in over an hour distracted me from about a minute of fully experiencing Neil Peart's drum solo. He wasn't even ****ed up. He was just stupid and didn't realize he had been migrating until we showed him the tickets and he shut up. Some good people watching at the show as well. I saw them on I think it was the Time Machine tour, and through the night they played all of Moving Pictures. It rocked.

Sadly my concert list is basically non-existent. Just going to see local acts. Have to drive a haul to see a big show. I was half debating on going to Cooperstown to see OCMS but it doesn't jive with my scheduled plans to go to Philly. Can't see myself swinging that much time off. I may try to see them later in the month when they're playing a show with Willie Nelson, though I think it will be a little too much Willie for my taste. I like Willie, but similar to Paul McCartney, he just doesn't have it anymore.

Had the pleasure of seeing them in their hometown of Toronto on the Time Machine Tour! Went with the ex, and we caught the Molson Indy the next day, which was Sunday. Previously only saw them on the Snakes and Ladders Tour. So, it's not greeted with any great sadness here, if they should decide to call it a day. Legend has it that the album cover photo on Exit Stage Left was snapped in Buffalo. Not sure if this has been verified, but Rush as always been a major draw in my hometown. Canadian acts have always tried to use Buffalo (and sometimes Detroit) as a springboard to penetrate the American market. This is because Toronto is so close in proximity, and the radio stations beam their signals across Lake Ontario.

If this is the last go-round with the Stones, good with everything. At least they can guarantee that it'll be a party and that people will have a good time.

I saw them in Camden. Really cool venue there, just for concerts. Stones don't have the chops they used to but they still provide really strong shows. THey're all way too damned old. But I think it would be cool to see them live one last time.

I really have been jonesing to see Pearl Jam again. It's been a really long time (almost a decade) since I last saw them. I'd love to see how things have changed. Seemingly from concert footage I've seen, not too much.

I saw Wilco and Neutral Milk Hotel so far. Both were incredible.

Not much else coming my way that I'm interested in, unfortunately.

Foo Fighters and Alice In Chains, both in August. Thinking about Shinedown in July.

Heard of like 3-4 of the bands/artists/groups mentioned in this thread.

I have always wanted to go Red Rocks for a concert, but I don't get the concert hype..never have actually.

A lot of people don't. There are 50000+ people who go to NFL games. I don't really enjoy it. I have fun going to a few but I can't do more than one every few years. They're fun but tedious in the same regard. It's much better to watch on TV.

Not relevant but Dave Grohl just broke his leg during a concert in Sweden, then came back on stage sat in a chair with a cast and medic holding his leg up. Legend.

Hell, back in the '70's, Clapton used to upchuck on stage, then gargle with Jim Beam.

Best performance Jodeci have ever done were on cocaine and pills when they performed a cover of Stevie Wonder's Lately on MTV Unplugged.

Dave Grohl will go down as one of the great performers of our time. In a way he's kind of a throw back to the Bruce Springsteen type of frontman.

Before the pre-Rush concert get together, received an invitation to see Psychedelic Furs/The Church. During my early high school years, P-Furs were really cool to like...that is, before they got popular! As is the case, they suddenly became less cool when they go more mainstream and everybody begins to like them. Of course, their songs were still good. Don't have any recollection of The Church, but sort of recall that one hit single. They have a new album and maintain a following. So, while this will more to see the Furs, curiosity is worth it to give the other act a try.

Decided to kick start this back up.

The Foo are coming back to Dallas in the spring so that's where mine is going to start.
