Guy is captivating. He could get a TV gig on MLB network no questions asked.
One of the toughest ones here recently was Javy Lopez on his bobblehead night earlier this year. I was begging for it to be over it was so uncomfortable.
Well, this game sucks.
Joe actually said last night that there was no guarantee that Justin would have had a good enough year to warrant a long-term contract.

Starting Gomes is working out. Fails to get the runner to 2nd as well as allowing the 3rd run to score. I doubt Todd lets that ball drop to score Norris in the 5th.
So was Gomes expected to get a hit tonight? I'm curious.

Why did Gomes dive for a ball he had no shot at? He wasn't even close even with that dive.
