Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...
Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

Jaret Hellinger signed.

We drafted 3 HS players in rounds 11-20 and have already signed two of them. I like that. High schoolers tend to be less likely to sign when taken that late.

That's about all I can find and that's right after he was drafted....I've considered getting a membership to Perfect Game, MaxPreps or Baseball America...Does anyone have a paid subscription to any of those and are they worth it?
That's about all I found along with his PerfectGame profile.

#16 Belicek signed. Saw it on Shanks Twitter with a picture. Don't know anything about him.
Hellinger was a great sign. This is the kind of kid that usually goes to college and ends up a top 3 round pick.

It’s over."

No. 13 pick Chase Mullins has signed, according to a Lexington TV station. Good story here; was UK signee who came down with arm trouble almost immediately, had TJ surgery in 2013, went to Watlers State, but coach left and he had issues and went home. His prep coach got him to start working out again, went to Shelton State and came on strong.

No. 11 pick Grayson Jones, an Auburn signee out of Shelton State, signed with the Braves Saturday afternoon in a ceremony at his parents' house. He was drafted in the 14th round by Cleveland last year, but opted for a second season at Shelton State.
He prepped at Hewitt-Trussville.

Catcher Chase Smartt, drafted in the 35th round by the Braves, is a Troy State signee. He was an all-state catcher who hit .523 for the Class 4A state champions. Oh, and he's deaf.
Chase was born "profoundly deaf," but has a cochlear implant that helps his distinguish sounds on a ballfield.

12th round pick Justin Ellison has confirmed on his twitter page that he has signed a contract with the Braves. Earlier stories he was leaning towards signing over taking his Oklahoma State scholarship offer.

Braves work the JCs in the Southeast pretty hard. Last year's 13th round pick--Caleb Beech--also attended Shelton State. Johnson-Mullins goes about 6-8, 270.
Agree on Ellison. Supposedly has tools to spare. I would guess (and this would only be a guess) that they had to go over $100,000 for each of these guys.

Evan Phillips, UNC-Wilmingham righty taken in 17th round, has signed with the Braves, according to StarNews Online. Had control problems earlier in the season, but strong finish convinced him he was righty to take it to the next level. He allowed only two earned runs over his final 19.3 innings with control.
WTOC reported Friday that Braves 8th round pick Ryan Lawlor signed with the Braves and left for camp Saturday. As a junior for the Dawgs, he posted a 5-7 record, with a 3.67 ERA in 14 appearances. He pitched 73 and 2 thirds innings with 84 strikeouts, both team bests this year.
"This is my dream my whole life so I just knew that after my junior year if I had a chance to go in the top ten rounds I was going to do it, and it happened to be by the Braves so that really sealed the deal, I knw this was what I wanted to do so, it's just time that I continue my career and play at the next level."
Family members have tweeted that lefty Ben Libuda, the Braves 26th-round selection, signed with Atlanta on June 10. Looking for some confirmation on this one.
