The most reassuring thing about all this is that the Braves are not hesitating to admit their mistakes (Stultz, EY, Callaspo, Cahill) and moving on. No hangover. Expecting Folty to head back to AAA soon and give ManBan a shot.

ya, I'm at least glad they aren't doubling-down on bad investments.

Thread title could be much more colorful IMO.

BUT, I really hope man ban isn't coming up soon as Rico suggested. Rather him cruise at AAA. Folty is just learning and hasn't been too bad.

With you on the first sentence. Disagree on the last sentence. I think Foltynewicz is here to stay.

This team continues to become better. Little moves that this make all the difference; I just hope we can keep working maybe get a good streak going.

Has a team ever gone through the changes in pitching in a season that the Braves have already made due to performance and not injury?
As far as Eveland, if you get the guy from last year fine, if you get the guy from all the other years, I am not impressed. I guess maybe we should not have traded 10 relief pitchers over the winter huh?

And not a single one of those relievers has pitched well outside of Shreve and Kimbrel.

We won't know for another 3 years at least. It doesn't look good now but who knows.

Sucks about Cahil. Still believe it was a risk worth taking. It ended up being bad.

Well we were talking about the RPs we traded away.
Kubitza still probably isn't more than a bench player tho.

When a rebuilding team takes shots on players turning things around they will get hits like Maybin, and misses like Cahill. He was a solid gamble to take. The results do not dictate whether it was a good move or not.

Yeah, it was a fine flyer for a rebuilding team. No regrets.
