48th in obp in all of baseball despite bad start.

I don't know if that's an avg bat.
He has a 105 wRC+ which is slightly above average.

I dont believe he is an average bat either. The guy knows what he is doing at the plate.

I love this type of offensive team. S9 consistent when you focus on putting the ball in play.

Never seen a Braves offense be quite this consistent playing this way.

    Not for a 2b.

And he's in his first year. Still only 25. He still has projection.

    He's not cano or kipnis.

He has the physical strength to think he could get more power

To think...our manager needed to be told to play this kid. Amazing.

I still think need another ff level guy or a couple of guys with more power.

Lf rf 3b and catcher still need major upgrades. Markakis obp is great but him batting 4th is terrible. And it's only year one of the deal.

Love simbas approach this year and lately. Hitting it hard

Freeman level guys don't grow on trees and tend to be expensive.

Two outs on the bases for the Mets...not a great showing by Folty there.

I think it's time to move Folty down and bring up Wisler. Don't get me wrong. I still think Folty is going to be a good pitcher but he needs more seasoning.

Thought we traded away major league players for these supposed amazing pitching prospects? Well there has to be someone better on the farm than this Folty person.

I agree. I like him, but he needs to define his outpitches more, or find one to be more exactly. I like his stuff, makeup, mechanics, etc. I think he will be a beast... but, he needs some seasoning.

So wasting good offensive performances by being a bad pitcher?
