June 23, 1990 marked the beginning of Bobby's second stint as Manager of the Braves. He returned to the dugout from the GM's box after firing Russ Nixon - just shy of three weeks after making Chipper Jones the #1 overall pick in the 1990 Rule IV Draft.
The rest, as they say, is history (and pretty awesome history for those of us that struggled through the dark days of the 70s and 80s).
