So, the Johns are patting themselves on the back for having the foresight to sign AJ Pierzynski, who has been an outstanding player and influence on the clubhouse despite many people thinking he might be a distraction, or perhaps a pain in the ass, making rookies go buy his fourth inning beers from a vendor, banging teammates wives, showing up hungover, and worst of all hitting .230 and slugging .360.
As it turns out, he's only been somewhat of a prick. He still doesn't walk, can't throw anybody out, but he was way better than the young guy they thought he'd back up, 'cause he can hit and the other guy can't.
