This is just an aside, but I find it interesting that all 5 of the full season teams in the organization have nearly identical records.

So apparently Jenkins was in fact ready for AAA.

I am still convinced that those K numbers will come up in due time. We have no clue what the Braves had him working on so far this year.

AWESOME. What was his final? If he's done. I'm at work, so I'm trying to flip back and forth.

A few more hits than I'd like to see, but that's really awesome for his first start.

I told y'all! Lol. Seriously though, if healthy he's as good a candidate to start for the Brabes as Folty is. Of course they could both or one be traded.

Again, forget the numbers for now. Go find the tapes from ST. Jenkins has plus stuff. I have faith that the Braves pitching developmental team will help him figure it out.

Very good to see from Jenkins. If he continues like this at AAA I think the Braves should/could trade one or more of our established starters. How crazy would it be to go into 2016 with a rotation of Miller/Banuelos/Wisler/Perez/Jenkins.

Very crazy. That's never going to happen.

Outside of injury I agree, but we've already seen how that goes sometimes. It would be foolish to trade both Teheran and Wood and go with such a young staff IMO. I can see trading one of them at some point, but not trading both by 2016. Now had he said 2017 then maybe so because a lot can happen in over a year. However, I would even be doubtful about both being gone from the rotation by 2017 barring injury.

Attended Mississippi game and saw one of their biggest offensive outbursts (13 hits, 4 doubles, homer by K.D. Kang). Reyes allowed 450-foot HR in 1st, but nothing else in 6 innings. Bullpen, especially Rondon, was horrible, allowing 3 runs in 9th on 3 walks and a pair of two-out hits. Peterson strikeout for final out after allowing all 3 inherited runs to score. Kennelly had three hits to leap the Mendoa line; Kang had double as well, 3 RBIs.

Yeah, he looked unreal the time or two that I saw him in Spring Training. Big, imposing presence on the mound. Worked fast and had a lot of movement on his pitches.

Thats the only thing I'm concerned about. I personally believe the Braves had him working on some other things that don't necessarily lead to a lot of K's.

He has been going deep into games and I think that skill is just as important as striking out a lot of guys.

Good to see that Toussaint was able to battle back from a rough start. Obviously the first three batters still count, but it's nice that the majority of his start went well.
