Yup...always need to replace. Just have to keep drafting and acquiring them.

We did draft quite a few pitchers this year. Allard and Soroka are obviously the ones to keep an eye on. Minter won't pitch until next year. Among the others, the one who has made a strong early impression is the 4th round pick, Josh Graham. Power arm. Converted catcher. Profiles as a reliever but I'm glad they are giving him an opportunity to develop as a starter. 13 Ks and 3 walks in 10 innings in Danville.

He may only pitch in the instructional league but if he plays SS ball it'll more than likely be in the GCL. He'd likely start in Danville next year unless he really impresses in ST and they push him to Rome.

He likely would have gone to Danville had he signed a few weeks sooner. There were going to bring him along slowly no matter when, but the season will probably wind down before he's game ready. And that's fine.

Leudys Baez is pretty intriguing he doesn't walk much but he has shown pretty good pop, decent speed and a good arm. He skipped the DSL and GCL, granted he's older than you normal IFA but that says a lot about his talent.

I doubt it cause he's only 17 he was one of the youngest prospects in the draft and although his FB and CB are potential plus plus pitches he still needs to develop his change. I don't think the Braves will rush him

More about yesterday's amazing finish for Mississippi. Trailing 10-5 in the ninth inning, the Braves quickly made two outs. Then this:

Steve Rodriguez (who replaced Braeden Schlehuber mid-game for no announced reason) walked
    Matt Lipka singles
Emerson Landoni doubles, two RBIs. His 5th hit, his 3rd double. (10-7)
    K.D. Kang singles, RBI. (10-8)
Kevin Ahrens walks, pinch-runner Levi Hyans
    Matt Kennelly walks, loading bases
    (pitching change)
Rio Ruiz, pinch-hitting, walks, RBI (10-9)
Sean Godfrey doubles, two RBIs (11-10) He made first out of inning
