Since he was drafted all of the prospect guru's reported that scouts worried about his durability thanks to his funky delivery and that was when his curve was a show me pitch. On top of that he's been losing velocity and ended last season with a strained forearm, which is typically a precursor to TJS.

I hate trading Wood and I generally don't agree with the process of trading for a 30 year old, but Oliviera might be really really good.

There's upside to the trade. But it's entirely dependent on him reaching his upside.
