Chopping With The Braves And Rolling With The Tide
Chris Johnson? Didn't it fall apart?
I bet we get that pick that was in the deal. I think it was 34th overall. Just guessing but with as much as this front office loves dealing for picks, it makes sense.
You have this from Heyman with no Braves mention:

hear the marlins-dodgers swap is paperwork at this point and still likely to happen

Excellent. I bet we take on Morse's salary.
I'm wondering if Jim Johnson's name has been mentioned in this.

as @Ken_Rosenthal reported #Braves are 3d team in #Dodgers/#Marlins Latos swap and told significant players involved

Read some tweets earlier that questioned Morse' fit with the Dodgers. Don't really see him as a fit with the Braves either.
Chip just mentioned Rosenthal's tweet on air.

If we get Ozuna from the Marlins and Austin Barnes from the Dodgers I would never question Hart again.

For a playoff contender, what other SPs would they want to put in their rotation other than Wood or Miller.
I could see Prado coming back since the Fish are in release mode
Guerrero has been pretty good when playing regular. Hate his contract though.

Alex Wood fits the bill of a guy the Dodgers would value more than the Braves. If ATL shipping an arm to LAD, he's the one to bet on.
This could either be really good or really bad.
Folks I'd like to get if we are moving Julio or Wood:
Dodgers:
Seager-highly unlikely
Urias-highly unlikely
Joc Pederson-highly unlikely
Puig?? Talented but head case
Holmes
De Leon
Barnes
Verdugo
From LAD, I would want 3 of Barnes/Holmes/de Leon/verdugo with Barnes a definite. If Puig or Seager or Urias or Pederson come back, that obviously changes things on the return.
Marlins:
Prado
Realmuto
Ozuna
Yelich
Kolek
From Miami, I'd really like one of the OF. A package of Kolek/Ozuna wouldn't be terrible, but not sure I'd do that.
Given that Latos and Morse are going to LAD, I have to think most of our return will come from LAD.
I think the competitive balance pick definitely is coming our way here.
