Starts at LG and gives you some insurance if something happens with Mathews or McGary.

I don’t know why they traded up for him but I think it’s an acceptable pick

I don't think it's a bad pick, Im just not terribly excited by it. Trading up felt unnecessary and put a bad taste on it.

Would be nice to have that version of Matt Ryan with this roster.
2016 Ryan would miss his Julio deep threat. Ryan loved to air it out to Julio to pull the safeties back then pick them apart underneath with Sanu.

I wonder where Ryan is going to end up. I think if no one signs him, I'd cut Heineke and Bring him back as our backup. He's a ****ing legend and deserves to retire a Falcon.

Correct, Jason Kelce is an amazing example, he was undersized yada yada yada, but busted his ass and is gonna go down as one of the best centers to ever play the game.

It's rare to get a stud post round 1, really post top 10, but you can find some great value picks later in the draft. If he winds up being Matt Light instead of Jason Peters, I can live with that. Hopefully we won't be picking top 10 anytime soon.

Of course. That’s an all time great offense.

Eagles are ****ing killing it. THey are the odds on favorite for the superbowl for sure. Like the last 2 days they haven't made a bad move. They've got great value at all their picks too

Carter was a steal at 9, Smith was a great late 1st round pick. Ringo was an amazing 4th round pick, Steen and Brown were great picks. BUT they also got Swift for a future 4th round pick. Eagles are ****ing stacked. THeir offense is Jalen, Swift, Brown, Smith, and Goeddert, defense is still stacked with their line of Graham, COx, Davis and Sweat, Reddick coming from the blitz from the LB, and then the depth of threat they add with Jalen and Nolan into their already strong depth, like they're so fast and skilled. like they're so freaking set as long as injuries don't **** them.

Eagles are loaded and have depth, they're gonna do so well.

I would not hate Andrew Vorhees with one of these picks here.

Big fan of the CB Falcons drafted out of Utah. These Utes guys always seem to adjust well in the NFL.

As I understand the scouting report he's small, so he's basically a nickel corner.

    The analysts liked him.

Film nerd. Apparently jacked as hell.

Started from the day he stepped on campus.

A few commented that he should start dat one at the nickel.

Without question the best roster in football. Should be heavy favorites to win it all, we'll see what the books say in a few months.

Lol at the Falcons taking a RB in the top 10. I have admittedly seen very little of Robinson but from just a few highlight videos I see hum getting run down from behind. That's not what I want to see from a RB in college. Reggie Bush was almost literally running circles around people in college. Kamara was 4.5 speed timed and I rarely see hum get run down in the pros.

That’s weird because Robinson’s 40 time was faster than Kamaras

I didnt try to pass my opinion as well informed. It was a first impression take on the guy. I expected to be blown away and really wasnt. Not that there is really anything I could see that would justify taking a RB top 10. Should be building your OLine and DLine with them top 10 picks. As a Saints fan though drafting Robinson works for me. Maybe draft a run stopping safety top 10 next year too. That would be great.

Agreed. Jalen Carter was an awesome choice with the Saints pick at number 9.

Whether Robinson was worth the pick depends on the way he'll be used. If the Falcons don't pigeon hole him as a RB and instead are creative and move him all over the offense then he'll absolutely be worth a top 10 spot. Robinson is rare in that he can do everything well. He can run for power, he can change directions on a dime, he has great burst, he can hit HRs or pick up tough yards, he can block, and he has excellent receiving skills. The only weak spot in his game, if you can call it that, is lack of elite top end speed though running a 4.46 isn't exactly slow.

Robinson's excellence in nearly all areas makes him uniquely suited for creative use. If the Falcons move him all over and plan plays around his abilities then he'll be worth that pick. He'll provide value other backs simply can't provide. But it will take the right kind of offensive mind to unlock the full potential he brings. If the Falcons don't make the most of Bijan, it won't be because Bijan wasn't worth the pick, it will be because the coaching staff wasn't good enough to take advantage.
