    A. He's not IR or PUP, so he can still be traded. Apparently has a mild sprain.
    B. I think I mentioned TN would likely have to pick up the tab to move him.
    C. I don't know that he's any better than what you have, but it's hard to be worse.

Saints offense's balls finally dropped. Stopped checking down every pass play and used Taysom Hill in the red zone and they scored 38. Not going to win a lot of games playing scared like they had been before this game.

Yup - doesn’t matter how you’re playing right now. All matters in late December and January.

Highly doubtful... Tannehill is worse than Taylor and probably Ridder too

My family league is small only 6 so we have a buttload of extra roster spots, etc. But here's my first 2 picks

    1. Jetta
    2. Chubb

I took Taylor as a gamble pick in the 4th round as I knew I could fill out my roster slots enough and if he came back he'd be a beast. THe only reason I'm not fully ****ting the bed this year is because of Taylor coming back strong.

After that autodraft took over and **** went wild and I lucked out that everyone slept on Tua and Addison.

Big trade for the 49ers. Chase Young has elite ability if he can stay healthy. But like McCaffrey, the big question is can he actually stay healthy. He's playing for a new big contract, so he will likely play through smaller injuries he wouldn't have in the past.

Defense is a mess and its not the defensive lines issue - Our coverage schemes seem to suck. 3-5 step drops with the QB releasing it within 3 seconds and there are guys running open down the field 10+ yards.

Unless that is figures out you could put anyone on the D-line and nothing will change.

I don't really understand why, unless they think a new coach and turn their record around and get them to the playoffs. I mean it's not shocking McDaniels was canned, he's not a good head coach. We've learned that already Even with his improvements, he's nothign special.

I assume he goes back to New England again.

Josh McDaniels has to be on the short list for the worst HCs of all time right? I mean I think it's rather clear Urban was the worst HC ever, but McDaniels has to be like top 10 right?

At this point Heineke is likely better.

The Falcons are starting Taylor Heinicke against the Vikings. Ridder goes to the bench for now, though with the way Smith was talking about him it's pretty clear that Smith still has a man crush on Ridder.

The Falcons will be much better with Heinicke. With Ridder in there, defenses are stacking the box with 8 or 9 guys and daring Ridder to beat them deep. One of the Titans defenders said they knew all they had to do was stop the run and the Falcons wouldn't be able to score. They wont be able to do that with Heinicke who is much more willing and able to push the ball downfield.

However, the Falcons will still have Arthur Smith drawing up and calling plays. I have no idea how that man got a reputation of being an offensive genius. He draws up some just baffling plays.

I've rarely seen the tides turn on a coach the way they have on Arthur Smith. He went from being talked about as one of the most promising offensive minds in football to being derided for his play calling disasters, poor play designs, and inexplicable handling of the QB situation. He went from offensive genius to all around dunce really quick.

Basically, people realized he's not actually that bright and just benefitted from coaching Derrick Henry in his prime.

I don't think Smith is dumb. I think it's more likely Smith bought the hype. That happens sometimes. Even with the great ones. ANdy Reid had a fallout in Philly because he thought he could constantly turn chicken salad into chicken **** as long as he had an OL. But it was clear he couldn't win with Garbage QBs like Kevin Kolb.

Watching Ridder in the Titans game, it was clear he was too afraid to make a mistake by turning it over. That's why you see him taking bad sacks on crucial downs instead of throwing the ball away or trying to fit it into a tight window. When a QB starts doing that, it's hard to coach them out of it.

I think Smith has turned out to be one of the most overrated OCs in recent memory. He's kind of like Josh McDaniels in a way. McDaniels had Brady making him look amazing while Smith had Derrick Henry.

I think Smith is a below average offensive mind who has no idea how to draw up a passing game. Some of his passing plays are absolutely baffling. He'll have multiple receivers ending up in the same area of the field, he leaves receivers in traffic, and he uses his best receivers as decoys half the time.

I do think he bought into the hype as well. It's not enough for him to just call a good play, he has to demonstrate he's the smartest man on the field with some exotic play call to demonstrate his genius. Problem is he's not close to the smartest man on the field and those exotic plays blow up in spectacular fashion.
