Also the COmmies look really good under Daniels. Sadly this iwll probably convince some dumb team to hire Klingsbury again.

Yup. And he's turned it up to 11 now that he's paired with the best running QB in the league. With those 2 guys they could legit switch to the triple option and blow teams out by 20+ points every week.

Kingsbury has always been a very good OC. He's just a terrible HC. Maybe his failure in AZ will make him a better HC someday.

Jauan Jennings with another pretty big day. May be more here than some thought. Currently 3rd in the NFL in receiving yards

Lamar is such a beast of a player. He's like if Vick could pass. People hate on him, but if he's healthy he's one of the best QBs in the NFL period. Some are better pure passers of course, but his career 65 comp% and 7.5 y/a is quite good. Especially when he's getting 60+ yards a game on the ground.

I don't watch Falcons games, but I have a legit question about Pitts. Should I move on from him in fantasy. Don't have a ton to replace him with, but he hasn't done anything. IS there hope?

I honestly don't think so. There's a chance he and Kirk will develop chemistry. But honestly at this point I just assume it won't happen. He'll probably have a few good games, but at this point I suspect at most like a 700/5 season from him. Hope I'm proven wrong but Cousins seems much more in sync with Mooney and London. London is his preferred short/mid guy which leaves Pitts in a weird spot.

Lamar sucks on passes longer than 20 yards. It's just a fact. He throws a poor deep ball. But he's so elite at everything else that it doesn't matter much.

I wouldn't say he sucks on them. Like Ryan I think it's not his asset but he's capable of airing it out to keep safeties honest.

I think being able to air out a throw is important but I'd rather have a guy deliver perfect midrange passes. Cause that's about the time you usually have in the pocket to let a play develop.

When you have a great QB the receivers are elevated

His numbers are a product of the fear the defenses have of him running the ball. That’s part of his game and can’t be detached but he isn’t as good of a pssser as those numbers indicate.

No hope as long as he's with Atlanta. Arthur Smith was a terrible first coach for him and Morris and Co are nowhere near skilled enough to unlock his talent. He'll probably leave Atlanta, sign somewhere else, and become another Gronk, but that's not happening in Atlanta.

I'm pretty sure he's consistently among the worst rated QBs in the NFL on passes traveling 20 more yards in the air. I recall an article last year during the season talking about him completing less than 35% of those passes since the start of the 2019 season, excluding hail mary attempts. That ranks him solidly in the bottom 10 of the NFL starting QBs

Told all of yall a TE in top 10 is pretty much a wasted pick. They have to turn out to be a legitimately elite TE to be worth that sort of investment, because decent/good TEs are littered throughout the draft every year.

He looks to be in better shape this year. Got outside on a couple of runs and he seemed to be moving better than he did in Tennessee.

He was a physical unicorn but he wasn’t as physically dominant as Vernon Davis was and he was just a good TE for a while. I believe it took him a while to make the leap to just good as well.

When you have major holes, TE is a luxury pick.

Jamar Chase was the choice there

Terry Fontenot really needs to be fired. Pitts and Bijan would have to be generational players to be worth their pick. Pitts is mediocre and Bijan is good but doesn't look elite.

Then there's London who has pretty much shown he's not a WR1. He's basically a tall slot receiver.

Three top 10 picks and zero elite players. Fontenot has to go.
