So: this thread isn't about "real football," as stated?
"For all his tattooings he was on the whole a clean, comely looking cannibal."
Anyone with half a brain could see the immense talent that he has. There is a reason why respected analysts like Jaws say he could be better than Rodgers one day. I was nervous last year that he was being brought in at the wrong moment but that is why Harbuagh is a great coach and I'm a bum on a coach watching on Sundays.
The Falcons had just 4 possessions in the 2nd half.
1 - Interception because Roddy fell down after the Falcons had crossed midfield
2 - The Ryan botched snap at about the Niners 30-yard line.
3 - Falcons go 3 and out after starting inside their own 1. How many teams get out of that situation?
4 - Falcons had a 6 or 7 minute drive that ended at the 10 after Ryan suffered a dislocated shoulder.
So I wouldn't exactly say the Falcons offense did nothing in the 2nd half.
I'm done saying that Ryan isn't one of the top QB's in the league. I do wonder what he would be without all the weapons that he has but the same could be said for just about any QB in the league. Guy just puts up numbers. I still dont like his arm strength but he gets the job done as well as anyone in the league.
I don't even see any mention of latter-day upstarts like Shrovetide, much less due discussion of the genuine article: ἐπίσκυρος.

BRule...whats the lowdown on Eric Wright. 49ers just gave hte Bucs a conditional pick for him.
Wasn't he good in Cleveland?
Not sure i get the trade for the Niners UNLESS they cut Rogers.
They already have Nnamdi, Rogers, Culliver, Brown at CB, not sure they need another CB.
"Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole "keeps hearing" the 49ers "don't want to keep" CB Carlos Rogers.
Rogers was considered a potential cap casualty when the offseason began, but many figured he was a "lock" to keep his spot once $1.25 million of his $5.5 million 2013 salary became guaranteed on April 1."
In Kaepernick, Harbaugh has a young, athletic and savvy quarterback who has all of the tools to become the best quarterback in the NFL.
To be clear, Kaepernick has a lot to prove before he overtakes the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, but there is no question that he has the ability to do so.
