QB is the most important position on the football field.
But great QBs lose games cause of their teams as often if not more than they lead their teams to wins. Aaron Rodgers had a great game against the niners, the Packers D and his receivers though sucked balls.

Great game is really overstating it. That last TD drive was when the game was already decided. He had an OK game. Ryan had a great first half against the niners but couldn't keep the momentum going.

Pretty sure you can find a QB for cheaper than 22 mil a year and then use that saved money on other players and get a better TEAM. Rather than tying up 35% of your cap in 1 player, who's never won anything.

You don't want your franchise player to be playing for a contract and have that in the back of his mind. It worked for Flacco but that doesn't mean it would work for Ryan.
