Falcons have about 10 with no cuts. Panthers have Cam's contract coming up. Falcons looked like they had a healthy chunk of change going into last offseason but they worked on the Ryan extension. So Carolina's choice is to maybe go for it, or to just work on Cam.

They dont have to sign Cam now, they can use the 5th-year option, or wait another year.

I dont think an extension would eat up cap space.

I wouldnt say go for it, but im not sure the dead money on releasing Stewart or the savings.

Alex Smith had 400+ rushing yards too. I guess that means the Chargers had better RB's than the Chiefs.....

Eagles still have around 2000 rushing yards without their QB's. What a worthless comparison.

San Diego ended up having a really good running game this year and Andy Reid is the most passing happy coach in the history of the sport so yes the Chargers had a better run game than the Chiefs.

Andy Reid is the most pass happy coach?

KC was smack dab in the middle of the league in running attempts and in the bottom half (basically the top of th elast 3rd) in passing attempts.

Reid runs a very smart offense, he works with what he has.

Reid historically is the most pass happy coach ever. I think its like 60/40 pass/run.

    You are ridiculous.

Even without Kaep, the Niners had well over 1600 yards rushing this yr. Putting them in the same category as other teams with running QB's such Seattle, Washington, KC, NYJ, andCarolina. They are still easily a top 5-10 rushing team even removing Kaep's yardage.

And LMAO at the Chargers having a better rushing attack this yr than the Chiefs. Another thethe classic line.

That doesn't mean he doesn't run.

    Reid's offenses the last 4 years in league ranking on rushing attempts 15 19 12 15 and his passing 20 7 13 11

The only year with a big disparity was last year when the Eagles were way behind.

Reid was a pass heavy when he had Westbrook because Westbrook was more dangerous in the flat than in the backfield.

When Matthews was on the field, the Chargers had a good running attack. but yeah, not as good as KC. San Fran was maybe a little weaker in terms of efficient running, but still a strong running team.

This article has Falcons having 16.5 available plus some cuts for Samuel and probably Nicholas.

Plus the cap will rise to approx 127+

Nicholas should be cut. I'd offer a restructure but you can't pay 4 mill or whatever it is for a backup LB.

MeAngelo is gonna get cut soon is my guess. He thinks the Skins should change their name.

BTW odds that the Redskins save face in a way by just becoming the Skins?

Rexy locked up for one more guaranteed year, and some more.unguaranteed years.

Hall is a FA, i believe.

Good for Rex, though if he doesnt make the playoffs in the next 2 years, he may be gone.

Montana is saying Kaepernick has to improve. What an eearth shattering statement which basically everyone has said.

A lot of hype around these games Sunday - I really hope they aren't a let down and end up being close games, unlike this past weekend's games

Even at that, I guess he doesn't want to go back. Snyder has been so adamant about not changing the name.

Rex is likely gone if they suck next year, if he stays around .500 he'll get one more year most likely.

I dunno, I just kept hearing about how much deeper his understanding of the game was than RG3, and how accurate he was. Seems like an all time great doesn't share those sentiments.

Both Kaep/RG3 are raw because of the college offenses they played in. Kaep is further along IMO. You can just keep on talking and Kaep will keep on winning playoff games (mostly on the road).

Lol, yeah cause Kaepernick is the reason they're winning. Not their awesome defense. Put Ryan on the Niners and they win the Superbowl last year and this year, and maybe the year before as well. Put Brady there and they go undefeated the last 2 seasons.
