I'm surprised nobody responded to the football outsiders article about mobile QB's.
Hate to admit I'm right!

Meh, he could end his career tomorrow on a scramble and you would be wrong as ****. Year three is a little early to be crowing about being right about the impact on running qbs. After all, all it would take is a knee injury and he loses a step and that whole article could be flipped on its ear.

The Eagles did basically nothing to improve their defense. Jenkins stinks. They still have no pass rush and a weak secondary. They may win the division by default (like last year) but they have a ways to go defensively. Also, no way Foles comes close to 27/2. It will be an interesting season for them. Keep in mind they beat the Kyle Orton Cowboys by 2 points last year to win the division. Two points.
I think that the Eagles likely win the East because it's pathetic, but anyone of those teams could win it. You put a 3rd place team from any other NFC division in the NFC east though they likely roll. Hell I think you put any team from the NFC South or West and they win that division.

On paper (aka before injuries) the Falcons are better than any team in the NFC East. Primarily because unless Foles was for real last season he blows all the other QBs in the NFC East out of the water but Romo, and Cowboys have already proven they can't consistently win with the teams they build around Romo.

I think you are vastly overrating the Falcons buddy. There performance last year had more than just injuries associated with it.

They played the toughest schedule in the NFL and had the most 1 score or less losses in the NFL. A few lucky bounces and they could have been a .500 or better team. If Baker is healthy their OL is streets ahead of where it was last year. They got rid of DeCoud who was arguably the worst secondary player in the NFL last year. Only issue they have right now I can see is center and pass rushing. Falcons have talent at both but execution is a major concern

I expect better reading comprehension out of you pal.
Falcons have one of the 5 best or so QBs in the NFL (certainly 7 best at worst), one of the 10 best WRs in the NFL, a much improved offensive line, a much improved defensive front that may actually be able to stop a run or 2, and in terms of talent one of the better secondaries in the NFL. If the Falcons generate a pass rush, their defense will be above average and their offense was top 10 last year despite no contribution from the running game (which should be much better given the new OL they've brought in)

I think we would be "in" it. People point to how bad we were last year, but we hit hard with injuries. We won't be near that bad again unless the same bug strikes (Spoon injury not being a great sign).
I think Carolina rolls that division TB is above or at .500 and we are right there with TB or just under in that division. Goes without saying Nola puts half a hundred on everyone.
