You guys need to learn there is nothing locked in with the NFL. Falcons last year lost Spoon, Roddy, Julio, Jackson, Baker, Biermann, and I'm forgetting someone else. All missed at least 6 games. 6 games is all you need to be the difference between playoff bound and homeward bound. I fail to see how if the Falcons can have 6 starters go down 1 being a super star, 3 being near probowl caliber, and Baker and Biermann, that the Niners can't have the same happen?

Of course here will come thethe parading about depth, but depth doesn't do **** when you lose a star.

In regards to pencilling in teams to the playoffs. How many teams pencilled in the Texans before last year? Or defending champs Ravens? The Falcons? Or any number of other teams you could have "locked in" without "tons of injuries" And if the Texans playing in arguably the weakest division in the AFC can fall hard, so can the Niners playing in arguably the hardest division in the highly competitive NFC.

Nothing is set in stone in the NFC. I would hedge my bets and say GB, Philly, San Fran and Seattle are likely to return, but we don't know what will happen. What if Rodgers gets hurt again and this time the Lions don't **** the bed?

    I wouldnt lock in Philly.

Foles will likely regress and no one repeats in the NFCE often.

I would say NO, Sea, SF and GB are close to locks but anything can happen, true.

Nobody thought the Falcons were locks last yaer. In fact, I stated that it was important for the Falcons to win game 1 last year because the Saints would build momentum. I thought the Saints were the favorite in that division last year.

The Falcons were a fluke in 2012. They wont return to relevance anytime soon.

Many people had the Falcons in the playoffs. I would say the majority. I think next to none though had the Panthers winning the division. Saints sure, but it was likely saints division falcons wildcard in those scenarios. You're high if you don't think most had the Falcons as playoff locks.

Flukes don't win over and over and over again. For 5 seasons in a row to be specific. If Julio and Roddy were healthy last season would have been different for the falcons. Personally I'm glad for a trainwreck season. Falcons are now a much better team than they were last year and plugged every hole except for they still could use some OT depth and they may have passrushing issues depending on how their team stacks up. Bartu and Worrilow are entering their second season so if they are for real they should be improved as they'll have more first team reps and build up strength and stamina in the offseason they really couldn't last year. Not to mention they'll be more familiar with the league.

All teams will have training camp started by the end of the weekend. Buffalo has all players reported right now. I like EJ Manuel and the Bills overall. He needs to stay healthy and the Bills could make a playoff push. They had a very good defense and they have potential playmakers on offense.

So last year Jaws had Kap as best QB in history. This year, he doesn't have him in the top 10.

Hasn't been enough bickering in here lately.

49ers have the best receiving core in the league? Denver may be better, but it's close.

Denver is far and away the better.

Not that 49ers are bad they're probably second but far behind denver. Denver's 3rd WR is Emmanuel Sanders.

Not sure where I'd rank them but I love the Cowboys WRs. Dez, Williams, and Beasley with Witten. I think they'll be better this year than last.

I'd take the Niners as a Broncos fan.

Is this just WR's or TE's included?

WR's is tough, can put alot of teams in the mix.

With TE's, i'd take SF, VD is a monster.

Yeah cause Julius Thomas is a royal bum.

Niners have one of the worst ones in the NFL. Where they make up for it is their depth as they're very strong if not at the top at 2 and 3.

Denver has an ace 1, the best slot receiver in the NFL (maybe second best after Victor Cruz when he's there) and Emmanuel Sanders who's probably below average as a 2.

If we are going strictly on receiving talent, whether TEs are included or not, I am taking SF. If we include who is throwing the ball to them, i.e. making the receivers look better than they actually are, I take the Broncos.
