Sexy Rexy will probably be 3rd stringer.

Here's hoping the Sex Cannon makes it. The NFL is better with him around.

Some more talk about the 49ers "great" offensive line (this from Aaron Schwartz who is the founder of football outsiders):

The bigger problem for the running game is that the run blocking fell apart last year. The 49ers fell from first to 29th in our Adjusted Line Yards stat. And they were something like 20th if you look at just the second half of 2012. They had two months of absurdly amazing run blocking in September and October of 2012 and have been below average ever since. And they were 28th converting short-yardage runs last season.

I am not sure how posting rushing statistics discredits hits on a passer what so ever. Interesting theory to say the least.

Some tremendous news today: Follow up medical exams show Jim Kelly is now cancer-free.

49ers are trying to work out a contract extension with Crabtree. Sounds like if nothing is reached before the season starts, then it will have to be re-visited in the off season.

Yeah, I saw that. It would be great to keep him. People jsut don't realize how good he is because he came back hurt last year.

I heard something that has no merit whatsoever. Crabtree would be interested in taking an incentive laden contract.

Heard the same. Him and Kap are close so it wouldn't surprise me if he went down this route.

Both Steelers running backs Bell and Blount were arrested. DUI for Bell and weed charge for both of them.

Bell's first mistake was hanging out Blount.

With a last name like Blount you shouldn't be surprised.

In two other runs, he did slide before getting hit. He just has to learn when to give up on a play and/or only risk getting hit when the game is on the line or 3rd downs. Gruden wasn't very happy about him getting hit. He's acknowledged getting better at deciding when to slide and when to go out of bounds, but that's an example of an unnecessary hit, its ****ing preseason.

With our crappy interior line, he's gonna get killed in the pocket as well.

The thing that would concern me is that RG3 is not comfortable with sliding. He has admitted as such. If its not natural to him do you think he will ever do it consistently?
