So you are pissed at the bureaucracy?

I'm not saying it's unjustified because i would be mad too. But at some point you have to get over that imo.

Sources tell Yahoo Sports as many as 10 teams are prepared to make "titanic pitches" to impending free agent Ndamukong Suh.

Per reporter Charles Robinson, that includes the Jaguars, Browns and Raiders, who are tentatively projected to have the most cap space this offseason. The Jets and Falcons could also be in the mix. Robinson reports the Lions are leaving the franchise tag on the table as an option even though it would cost an otherworldly $26.7 million. The Lions would have to undertake all sorts of cap wizardry to make that number work. Detroit knows it would be foolish to let Suh get away, but the financial particulars of the situation make it a real possibility.

The Lions have the money to keep him. I think they will do whatever it takes. If he leaves, it will be based on more than money

It's been two days. And the only reason I'm not "over it" is because our resident coyboy homer fails to see that they were the beneficiary of a very questionable call that completely altered the game.

That's a really nice hire assuming his alcoholism doesn't snake bite him like it did in SF and Seattle.

They benefitted. Sure. But you act like Dallas was basically given the game. I would be defensive if I were him as well.

Yep, worth the risk. Hell, Seattle and SF are in much better shape because of him even while he was drunk.

McCloughan drafted Dashon Goldson, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Joe Staley and Patrick Willis during his time with the 49ers as GM and VP of football operations. He then helped identify key players for Seattle such as Richard Sherman, Russell Wilson, K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner that allowed Seattle to win their first Super Bowl in February.

the lions did exactly zero things right on that play, and then proceeded to do nothing right after the play, while they did nothing right in the 2nd half before the play. add up everything they didn't do correctly when it counted, and those things far outweigh that one play. they weren't the team that made the plays. they were the team that didn't go for it on 4th and 1. the team that shanked a punt for 10 yards. the team that couldn't force a turnover and allowed the cowboys to go right down and score. the team that couldn't put together the GW drive with plenty of time and all of their timeouts. a better team still wins that game.

The Lions were in the midst of a drive from our own 5 yard line, and were running a play on 3rd and 1 in your territory, in which our receiver was held and interfered with.

He really is an impressive hire. I would be really excited about him.

Your WR was holding as well, and made first contact while the ball was in the air.

Addressing the point that "the lions were doing nothing before the play"...

They drove about 50 yards... about the same the Cowboys did on the GW winning drive. Just a dumb argument

There's holding on nearly every play, some players are just better than others at hiding it. Jahri Evans was a master of it until they added another ref that has a line of sight to see it. Being able to break the rules without drawing a flag is a skill in the NFL. Is it cheating if everyone does it? The really egregious thing to me is Bryant not getting flagged for running on the field without his helmet to argue a call. That's not up for interpretation like PI and he wasn't hidden from the refs view. At least they didn't lose to an infield fly 50 feet into the outfield.
